Richard Pound, C.C., O.Q., Q.C., is counsel in Stikeman Elliott’s tax group.
Among other Olympic accomplishments, he is also a member of the International
Olympic Committee and has twice been its vice-president. He was
featured by Time magazine as one of the “100 Most Influential People in the
World” for his role in the World Anti-Doping Agency, of which he was a
founder. Pound was awarded the Gold and Silver Star of the Order of the
Sacred Treasure by the government of Japan in 1998.
